SETTLEMENT TALKS TO OCCUR AGAIN:
With the promise that recent statistical arrangements made between us and ConAgra may bear fruit, we have scheduled settlement meeting number seven to see if a deal to compromise all "non-permanent injury" claims can be brokered.
Accordingly, David Karnas and Roger W. Orlando will be re-entering the belly of the beast beginning Monday, May 5, 2008 at ConAgra headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.
Six previous attempts have failed so we caution you not to raise your hopes too high. We refused six times, and will do so again, to lower our guard or sense of fairness in order to resolve this case for anything less than a fair accounting to you. While the previous six attempts failed to settle these claims, we were able to continue to work on improved structures to enable a foundation to exist that may ultimately prove fruitful. Accordingly, while we remain cautiously optimistic, we enter into these seventh negotiations with an open mind.
